Moody's Withdraws Credit Ratings of Alfa Bank Ukraine

At the time ofwithdrawal, Alfa Bank Ukraine's ratings were as follows: long-term localand foreign currency debt and deposit ratings of Caa1, short-term localand foreign currency ratings of Not Prime and Bank Financial StrengthRating (BFSR) of E, and a National Scale Rating (NSR) of Ba3.ua. Theoutlook on the bank's BFSR was stable, while the outlook on the depositand debt ratings was negative. Moody's most recent rating action on Alfa Bank Ukraine was on 17 August 2009 when the rating agency confirmed the bank's local and foreign currency debt and deposit ratings at Caa1 and placed a negative outlookon them. Headquartered in Kiev, Alfa Bank Ukraine reported total assets of USD3.8billion and total equity of USD447 million, according to IFRS financialstatements at the end of 2008.
