MILWAUKEE, Nov. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Senator Feingold's Economic Development Liaison, Ms. Hilary DeBlois, visited Hot Water Products, Inc. yesterday to tour the corporate facility and meet with representatives from other Wisconsin area businesses and environmental organizations involved in the renewable energy market.

This tour highlighted the large amount of solar energy business development and education that is already being done in Wisconsin. Many businesses are poised to take advantage of renewable energy investments to further develop the market and create green jobs. The event comes as the Clean Energy Jobs and American Power Act currently moves through the Senate. It's time to empower Wisconsin and revitalize our economy with clean energy and energy efficiency.

Steve Ostrenga, CEO of Helios USA explains, "As we are in the process of doing our due diligence to build a new advanced photovoltaic manufacturing solar facility, it is important that our elected officials understand that solar energy companies are active here in Wisconsin. Our intent is to source US made components when possible in our supply chain and to create new green jobs locally."

In attendance were representatives from Johnson Controls Inc., Milwaukee; Teko Mechanical Inc., Waukesha; ReEnergy Works, Milwaukee; Convergence Energy, Lake Geneva; Clean Wisconsin, Madison; Illingworth-Kilgust Corporation, Milwaukee; Area Mechanical, Fond du Lac; and Helios USA, Milwaukee; Wisconsin Environment, Madison; and Hot Water Products, Inc., Milwaukee.

The continued expansion of business and growing number of contractors needed to install solar energy systems makes it clear that energy efficiency and renewable energy products are not only saving consumer's money, but creating a whole new market for Wisconsin businesses.

Hot Water Products, Inc. is helping to lead the Wisconsin plumbing and heating trades into the 21st century and into the latest renewable energy technologies. We are the Midwest's leading supplier of solar thermal, high efficiency domestic hot water, and hydronic heating systems.
