Citi announced that it has been appointed by 7 Days Group Holdings Limited, a hotel chain based in China, as the depositary bank for its new NYSE-listed American Depositary Receipt program. 7 Days' ADR program was established through a $111.1 million offering, representing the third IPO of 2009 conducted in ADR form and listed on the NYSE. Citigroup is a global financial services holding company providing various services to consumer and corporate customers.
Berens Energy Inc. (TSX: BEN), $1.95, +0.37, 23.42%, closed 0.02 under its high today of $1.97. The company is engaged in the exploration, development, exploitation, acquisition and production of crude oil, natural gas liquids and natural gas in western Canada. Berens Energy announced the initial test results from its 15-21-50-12 W5M Pembina Cardium horizontal oil well. The 15-21 well is the second Cardium horizontal well operated by Berens. Test results for the well were 1,250 bbl/day of oil at the end of a 3 day test period.
