Magic Software Enterprises Inc., a subsidiary of Magic
Software Enterprises Ltd. (NASDAQ: MGIC), a provider of application
platforms and business
and process integration solutions, today announced that its new
iBOLT business integration suite component for Microsoft SharePoint®
will enable unlimited closed loop integration between Microsoft
SharePoint and enterprise systems for ERP, CRM, HRIS and other critical
business functions as well as social media content from websites such as
Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.
Michael Singer, Technology Director for Magic Software Americas, is
presenting the solution at SPTechCon 2010 in San Francisco, Calif.
Singer's presentation, part of the "Tell Me Something I Don't Know
(About SharePoint)" panel, will take place on Wednesday, February 10, at
4:30 p.m. PT. Demonstrations will also be available from Magic Software,
at booth 305 of the conference.
As enterprises look to leverage the productivity that Microsoft
SharePoint and other rich platforms provide, they need companies to
cost-effectively guide and simplify the integration of business
applications. Magic Software's iBOLT provides customers with simple,
code-free integration, granting the ability to optimize their most
critical business processes.
Singer will demonstrate how the iBOLT Integration Suite integrates
Microsoft SharePoint with enterprise systems such as ERP and CRM and
with popular Social Media and Web 2.0 technologies. Using a
demonstration application called Social Launch, Singer will show how
iBOLT and Microsoft SharePoint provide users the ability to pull product
information from ERP systems such as SAP Business One or JD Edwards and
coordinate timed product launches by disseminating information through
Microsoft Dynamics CRM, email and social media platforms such as
Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.
Glenn Johnson, Senior Vice President Marketing for Magic Software
Americas commented, "Our customers are currently and continually
searching for ways to cut costs, save time and be more efficient by
leveraging information trapped in back-end systems. iBOLT's automated
exchange of information with Microsoft SharePoint Server augments this
business strategy and simplifies online interaction for users."
Singer has more than 10 years experience leading application development
and integration projects for Magic Software. He has applied his
expertise in application interface design and the human experience in
business processes for Magic Software for numerous client projects
including Allstate, Steelcase and FMRP.
SPTechCon
will take place from February 10-12, in San Francisco, Calif.
