Darin Bradley Whittington Customers: Law Firm of David R. Chase, P.A. Announces Investigation of Potential FINRA Arbitration Claims Against Jefferson Pilot Securities and Sammons Securities to Recover Losses

Friday, June 22, 2012 10:16 AM

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., June 22, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Law Firm of David R. Chase, P.A., representing defrauded investors nationwide and headed by former SEC Prosecutor, David R. Chase, announces that it is investigating potential arbitration claims against securities brokerage firms Jefferson Pilot Securities and Sammons Securities in connection with the activities of its former financial representative Darin Whittington. A recent FINRA settlement alleges that Darin Whittington was employed by these firms at the time he improperly recommended to his clients an outside, unapproved foreign currency exchange investment offered by Oxford Global Advisors, which the Securities and Exchange Commission has alleged to be a Ponzi scheme.

Under the federal securities laws and securities industry rules, including FINRA Rule 3010, Jefferson Pilot Securities and Sammons Securities, as registered securities broker-dealers, had an obligation to reasonably supervise the activities of Darin Whittington. If they failed to do so, they may be liable for investor losses sustained from Mr. Whittington's recommendation of the Oxford Global Advisors investment.

The Law Office of David R. Chase, P.A., based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, represents investors nationwide in cases against the securities brokerage firms. Mr. Chase has previously represented numerous victims of Ponzi schemes in arbitration claims against securities firms. For more information about holding brokerage firms responsible for Ponzi scheme losses, please visit: www.stockfraudlawyer.net under "Practice Areas/Ponzi Schemes."

The Firm's principal, David R. Chase, has been practicing for almost two decades, is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell -- its highest competence and ethics rating -- and previously served as a SEC Prosecutor for the Federal Government.

If you or a family member suffered losses as a result of investments in Oxford Global Advisors recommended by Darin Bradley Whittington, and you wish to discuss your legal rights on a confidential basis, or you have information about this matter, I would like to hear from you.
