Explanation of Responses:
1. Each phantom stock unit is the economic equivalent of one share of the Issuer's common stock.
2. The phantom stock units were accrued under the Harris Corporation 2005 Directors' Deferred Compensation Plan. The phantom stock units are to be settled in cash upon the reporting person's retirement or other events. The reporting person may also transfer the phantom stock units into alternative investment accounts in certain other instances if applicable ownership guidelines are satisfied.
3. The phantom stock units were awarded on October 1, 2009 pursuant to an automatic quarterly grant under the Harris Corporation 2005 Directors' Deferred Compensation Plan. The phantom stock units are to be settled in cash upon the reporting person's retirement or other events. The reporting person may also transfer the phantom stock units into alternative investment accounts in certain other instances if applicable ownership guidelines are satisfied.
4. The aggregate of 34,880.64 phantom stock units includes 210.37 phantom stock units acquired through dividend reinvestment in the Harris Corporation Directors' Deferred Compensation Plans on 9/4/09.

appoints each of R.L. Ballantyne, S.T. Mikuen, or C.H. Tumser, any one signing
singly, the undersigned's true and lawful attorney-in-fact to:

(1)execute for and on behalf of the undersigned, in the undersigned's capacity
as an officer and/or director of Harris Corporation (the "Company"), Forms 3, 4
and 5 and any other forms required to be filed in accordance with Section 16(a)
of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the rules thereunder;

(2)do and perform any and all acts for and on behalf of the undersigned which
may be necessary or desirable to complete and execute any such Form 3, 4 and 5
and any other forms, complete and execute any amendment or amendment thereto,
and timely file such form with the United States Securities and Exchange
Commission and any stock exchange or similar authority; and
