Henry Schein Ranks #1 in Its Industry for Social Responsibility as a Fortune 2011 World's Most Admired Company

Company also achieves #1 industry ranking in Global Competitiveness

MELVILLE, N.Y., March 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Henry Schein, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSIC), the largest distributor of health care products and services to office-based dental, medical and veterinary practitioners, has been ranked number one in the "Wholesalers:  Health Care" industry in Fortune Magazine's 2011 list of "World's Most Admired Companies" in the categories of Social Responsibility and Global Competitiveness.  The survey upon which these rankings were based included 673 companies from 32 countries.
