Absolute Auctions of Bank-Owned Properties Set for Alabama, Florida, Louisiana and Arkansas

MARIETTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 05/09/11 -- Hundreds of bank-owned commercial and residential properties in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana and Arkansas will sell in a series of auctions set for June 2-4, with John Dixon & Associates managing the sales.

The three-day series of events will include five auctions at different locations. "All of these properties are being sold absolute, with no minimum or reserve, so it's likely that some people will get some great deals on residential and commercial properties," said John Dixon, president of the auction company.

The sales will be conducted in Birmingham, New Orleans, Orlando, Pensacola, and Little Rock.

Birmingham: 11 a.m. Thursday, June 2 at the Embassy Suites-Hoover. Real estate being sold will include residential lots and land, commercial lots and land, an office building and other properties located primarily in the Birmingham and Montgomery metro areas, but also including properties in Tuscaloosa, Anniston and Alexander City.

Pensacola: 11 a.m. Friday, June 3 at the Holiday Inn Pensacola on N. Davis Highway. Properties being sold will include an office building in Milton, Fla., a commercial office building in Pensacola, land tracts and residential land and home sites.

New Orleans: 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, at the Crowne Plaza, New Orleans - Airport. The sale will consist primarily of home sites in the New Orleans area, with additional properties in Ponchatoula, Covington, Slidell and other areas north of Lake Pontchartrain.

Orlando: 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at the Crowne Plaza, 304 W. Colonial Drive. Properties selling in the Orlando auction will include properties from Central Florida, the Jacksonville area, and the Gulf Coast from Clearwater to Cape Coral. Properties include commercial and residential condominiums, home sites, an office facility and land.

Little Rock, Ark.: 4 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at the Holiday Inn Little Rock-Airport, 3201 Bankhead Drive. The sale includes home sites in Hot Springs, a home in Little Rock, and additional properties in other parts of the state.
