Solectria Renewables Expands Sales Force to Meet Growing Demand from Customers for Grid-Tied PV Inverters

Florida and Denver, Colorado, and expanded its Huntington Beach, CA

May 19, 2011 (Business Wire) -- Solectria Renewables, LLC, the leading U.S. PV inverter manufacturer, announced today that it has opened two new sales offices in Florida and Colorado to support the expanding North American solar market as part of its ongoing growth strategy. Solectria Renewables has also expanded its California office which is a strategic center for sales and customer service.

Since the Company was founded in 2005, annual capacity and production have doubled each year culminating in Solectria Renewables' March announcement of an 800MW manufacturing capacity at its headquarters in Lawrence, MA. With this increase in manufacturing and the growing North American market, Solectria Renewables has appointed regional sales managers in strategic locations across North America.

"Solectria Renewables' business is growing extremely quickly and we see a need for regional support. We've strategically located our new offices in Florida and Colorado in part to serve existing customers, but also to reach the growing number of new customers. The expansion of our California facility is also very exciting. We've expanded our sales office to include customer service and application engineering. We are pleased to be well positioned to serve the PV market nationwide," said Scott Bowden, Business Development Manager for Solectria Renewables.

As part of this expansion, Mr. Bob Montanaro has joined Solectria Renewables as the Southeast Regional Sales Manager. Bob is a LEED Accredited Professional and Licensed Professional Engineer with over 17 years of experience. He graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a concentration in Environmental Science.

Mr. John Shaw has assumed the Mountain West Regional Sales Manager role. John has been installing, designing and selling PV systems for over 5 years. He is SEI and NABCEP PV Technical Sales certified and also holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and a certificate in Japanese from Cornell University.

Ms. Allison Duffy, Pacific Regional Business Manager, will continue as sales manager with a specific focus on California and Hawaii. Ms. Duffy graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz with a BA in Environmental Science and she earned her Master's Degree in Environmental Science from Griffith University in Queensland, Australia. Ms. Duffy began her solar career with Solectria Renewables in 2006.
