People's United Financial, Inc. 2nd Quarter 2011 Earnings Conference Call Scheduled for Friday, July 22, 2011

BRIDGEPORT, Conn., June 10, 2011/PRNewswire/ --People's United Financial, Inc. (NASDAQ: PBCT) announced today it will host a conference call on Friday, July 22, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time to discuss its second quarter 2011 earnings announcement.  People's United Financial will release its second quarter financial results on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at approximately 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

The call will be broadcast live through the company's Internet site, peoples.com. It is accessible by selecting "Investor Relations" in the "About People's United" section on the home page, and then selecting "Conference Calls" in the "News and Events" section.

The call will be archived on the site and available for retrieval for approximately 90 days.
