American Medical Alert Corp. Announces Medical Advisory Board and Appoints Chairman

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 06/16/11 -- American Medical Alert Corp. (NASDAQ: AMAC), a provider of healthcare communication services and advanced telehealth monitoring technologies, today announced the inception of a Medical Advisory Board and the appointment of Joseph F. Renzulli, II, MD, FACS, as Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board.

The Medical Advisory Board will provide insights to innovate and expand the use of technology solutions to meet patient and healthcare industry needs to improve patient care, comfort, and quality of life. Specifically, members will provide guidance on how to respond to changes in patient care and new healthcare-related legislation.
