Jun. 29, 2011 (Business Wire) -- Jefferies announced today the addition of Anthony Fitzpatrick, who joins the firm as a Managing Director and Head of European Chemicals Investment Banking. He will be based in the firm's London office.

Mr. Fitzpatrick brings approximately 20 years of investment banking experience to Jefferies and joins the firm from UBS, where he was based in London and was a Managing Director and Global Head of Chemicals Investment Banking. Previously, he was employed in London at Bank of America, where he was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the EMEA General Industrials Investment Banking Group, and at Goldman Sachs, in both New York and London, where he was a Vice President in the Natural Resources Investment Banking Group. He received a BSc with honours in Chemistry from Durham University, in Durham, England.
