NEW YORK, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Model Hailey Clauson has sued the Urban Outfitters clothing company in New York for a sultry photo of her when she was 15.
Clauson, now 16, contends the unauthorized use of the image of her posing on a motorcycle in a pair of leather shorts was "blatantly salacious" and could even violate child pornography laws.
The photos wound up being printed on a line of T-shirts being sold by the company.
The New York Post said a number of other smaller retailers were named in the suit as well as fashion photographer Jason Lee Parry.
The lawsuit contends Parry deliberately went for a sexual tone when he composed the photos. E! Online said Parry allegedly specializes in "sexually suggestive situations involving only women and what appear to be underage girls."
Urban Outfitters had no immediate comment on the lawsuit but Parry responded that Clauson's parents were present at the photo shoot and signed the necessary releases. He also contended he lost control of the photos after they made their way to the Internet.
