Bank Mandiri, in collaboration with Visa, the Indonesia Credit Card Issuer Association and Infinitium Solution, has introduced Verified by Visa, with 3D Secured Dynamic PIN. Verified by Visa is a new security measurement for customers for online payment using credit cards.
Every online payment using Mandiri Visa Credit Cards will now have to be verified with a one-time password which is issued by Visa and sent through a registered mobile number.
Mansyur Nasution, Bank Mandiri's Executive Vice President Coordinator for Consumer Finance, said: "Bank Mandiri is committed to continuously expand services for its card holders, particularly when transactions via the internet. Bank Mandiri is the first bank in the country to implement this security feature. We are optimistic that we will be able to meet the needs of our customers and improve customer satisfaction i the transactions."
