StubHub, the world's largest ticket marketplace, today announced a
partnership with Sprint to offer users of the Sprint Football Live
application the ability to purchase tickets to college and pro football
games throughout the 2011-12 season. StubHub's extension of Sprint
Football Live makes it easy for fans to buy tickets to games via links
on the app's "Team Schedule" pages, "Game Center," and "Pro" and
"College" home screens.
"Sprint Football Live users will find our agreement with StubHub allows
them to take their support for their favorite teams a step farther – by
offering them a more convenient way to purchase tickets to upcoming
college and pro games even when they aren't near their desktop or
laptop," said Tim Considine, director of sports marketing at Sprint.
"StubHub's extension within Sprint Football Live is another example of
the many capabilities football fans will find available within this app,
enabling them to get the most out of their mobile football experience."
Fans can click directly through to StubHub from within the Sprint
Football Live app to purchase tickets for college and pro football games
– including bowl games and the playoffs. Sprint users who purchase
