Stanford University Athletics Chooses StubHub as Official Fan to Fan Ticket Marketplace

Tuesday, October 18, 2011 9:00 AM

StubHub, the world's largest ticket marketplace, today announced that it will become the Official Fan to Fan Ticket Marketplace for Stanford University Athletics, facilitated through its existing relationship with Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, marketing, and fundraising solutions in college athletics. Continuing the momentum, Stanford becomes the eighth NCAA team to fully integrate with StubHub this year, joining a total roster of 12 integrated teams through Paciolan.

StubHub's ticket marketplace offers fans of the Cardinal a convenient online destination where tickets can be purchased in a trusted environment. Ensuring quick delivery and legitimacy, StubHub's FanProtect Guarantee backs every order so Stanford fans can purchase tickets with confidence.

"With this integration, Stanford fans have even more to cheer about this year," said Greg Ivry, manager of business development at StubHub. "This integration gives them a safe and secure place to both purchase and sell their tickets to all Stanford athletic events."

Paciolan's leading software integration with the university enhances the overall fan experience. The product integration allows fans to buy tickets online and print them at home, which, combined with StubHub's expertise in the secondary ticket marketplace, provides fans of the Cardinal with a stress-free purchasing process.

"We pride ourselves in helping our clients make sure the overall sporting event experience goes well for the fan," said Dave Butler, CEO of Paciolan. "Together with StubHub and Stanford, we are bringing the ultimate in convenience and customer service to fans and the University. Our advanced technology options continue to streamline and simplify buying and selling tickets to all Stanford sporting events."
