(Source: MARKETWIRE)trackingSolarWinds(R) Inc. (NYSE: SWI), a leading provider of powerful and affordable IT management software, today announced that its international business is expanding its presence in the Japanese market by making key investments, including creating a Japanese language website, the translation and localization of its products, and creating a dedicated, native Japanese-speaking support team based in Brisbane, Australia. In addition, SolarWinds announced that it will enter into partnerships with leading Japanese companies, including Marubeni Information Systems, in order to promote and sell its unique IT management portfolio to Japanese customers.

"We believe we have a significant growth opportunity through further expansion in the Asia-Pacific region," said Kevin Thompson, President and CEO, SolarWinds. "Within our commercial business, our APAC business has continued to grow year-over-year, giving us the confidence to invest more resources and devote more time and effort into the Japanese market."

SolarWinds' network management products, including the company's flagship product, SolarWinds Orion Network Performance Monitor (NPM) and modules like SolarWinds Network Traffic Analyzer (NTA), will lead the company's entrance into the Japanese market. These products are the foundation for SolarWinds growth and brand success, and are gaining significant traction internationally -- as they already have in the United States.

Japanese businesses and their IT departments will also have the opportunity to experience the company's other IT management products, including SolarWinds Virtualization Manager; SolarWinds Storage Manager; and SolarWinds Application Performance Manager (APM).

"As one of SolarWinds key partners in Japan, Marubeni Information Systems will start selling SolarWinds' products in Japan using our experience in the network management softwarebusiness and using our extensive customer data base. We will focus our sales efforts on a broad-based set of customers including large and small enterprises in industries such as Telecommunications, Finance, Retail, Automobiles, Electronics as well as the government ministries, local government and schools," said Yoshihiro Nagakawa, Marubeni Information Systems' Managing Executive Officer and Division Director.

"We believe we have made the key investments in our websites, products and partner relationships in order to allow SolarWinds to achieve success in the Japanese market.
