VF Corporation (NYSE: VFC), a leader in branded lifestyle apparel, today announced that Boyd Rogers, Vice President of VF and President, Supply Chain, and a member of VF's Operating Committee, will retire on Dec. 31, after four decades of service to the company. Tom Glaser, Vice President, Global Operations, will be named to succeed Rogers, effective Jan.1, 2012.

Rogers, 62, began his VF career at Blue Bell, Inc., in 1971, and held various manufacturing, engineering and product management assignments. He joined the VF corporate team in 2000, assuming responsibility for Process Reengineering, as well as management of the Shared Services, Technology and Global Sourcing Organizations. In 2004, he was named Vice President, Global Supply Chain & Technology and became a member of the VF Operating Committee. He was named to his current role in 2005.

"VF is known for the strength of our supply chain capabilities, and we are fortunate to have had Boyd's strong leadership in this area for so many years," said Eric C. Wiseman, VF's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "We thank Boyd for his exceptional service to our company."

Glaser will assume responsibility for VF's global supply chain, including all manufacturing and sourcing operations. He joined VF in 2001 as Managing Director, VF Asia Ltd. Sourcing, based in Hong Kong. During his five years there, he was instrumental in further diversifying and expanding VF's global sourcing network in support of VF's growing portfolio of brands. In 2006, Glaser was named President, Supply Chain Europe/Asia, based in Lugano, Switzerland. He was named to his current role, Vice President, Global Operations, in 2010, and relocated to VF's world headquarters in Greensboro, N.C. In his new role, Glaser will join VF's Operating Committee.

"VF is also known for developing strong leaders," Wiseman added, noting that VF Corporation was named this month to the 2011 list of North American Top 25 Companies for Leaders by FORTUNE magazine. "We are confident in Tom's ability to lead this important area for our company and congratulate him on this new role."
