KODAK Event Imaging Solutions has announced new technology enhancements
to its KODAK Enterprise Photo Exchange (EPX) souvenir imaging platform
that will enable theme parks and iconic destinations to drive higher
revenue from photo operations by extending greater conveniences to their
guests.
KODAK EIS made the announcement at The International Association of
Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo 2011, which opened Nov. 14th
at the Orlando Convention and Visitors Center, Orlando, FL.
New EPX functionality, for both onsite and online technologies, focuses
on the guest experiences of viewing, accessing, purchasing and receiving
their photo keepsakes whenever and wherever they choose – at multiple
venue locations as well as at home. In addition, new gifting options
provide theme parks and attractions with a wider variety of photo
keepsakes for more potential impulse and incremental sales.
"We're very excited to announce these new technology enhancements," said
John Bryant, President, KODAK Event Imaging Solutions. "As one of the
world's largest imaging solutions providers, KODAK EIS has the ability
to address any venue's enterprise imaging needs, and to help grow
business for our industry partners." KODAK Event Imaging Solutions will
demonstrate the latest EPX enhancements as part of its photo operations
associated with the "IAAPA Celebrates Star Tours 3D" reception Thursday,
November 17th at Disney Hollywood Studios.
As a supporting sponsor of the event, KODAK EIS will provide Star Tours
3D guests with a free photo keepsake of the revamped Star Tours 3D
attraction, featuring new Star Wars characters and adventures in digital
3D.
"It is our pleasure to continue our relationship with IAAPA as a
Supporting Organization in 2011 by providing photo operations for this
very special event," Bryant said. "The best way to showcase our product
and service capabilities is to put them to good use, and with what
better audience to do that than the IAAPA conference attendees!"
