Energy Industry Leaders to Share Unique Insights, Best Practices and Customer Case Studies on Smart Grid and Energy Management Programs

PHOENIX, Dec. 6, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Comverge, Inc. (Nasdaq:COMV), a leading provider of Intelligent Energy Management solutions for Residential and Commercial & Industrial customers, today announced that two of its executives will present on separate panel sessions during Grid-Interop 2011. Focusing on smart grid interoperability, the conference will take place at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, AZ. from December 5-8, 2011.

Comverge Director, Utility Sales, Ed Reyes will join the "Demonstration Projects, Lessons Learned" panel to share Comverge's extensive experience in designing and implementing programs that engage consumers in energy management initiatives. Reyes will be joined by industry experts from the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, EcoFactor and Navigant Consulting.

Separately, Comverge Vice President, Regulatory Markets and Government Relations, Frank Lacey will join a panel of executives from ISO New England, EBiz Labs Inc. and EnerNex for the "Policy Roadmap" session. During the panel, Lacey will explain how utilities can overcome the technical and logistical challenges of implementing and running dynamic pricing programs by sharing best practices resulting from successful Comverge customer deployments. In addition, Lacey will join industry experts from San Diego Gas & Electric, GE Energy/Digital Energy, General MicroGrid and eMeter for the "Regulatory" session. The group will assess the role of state and federal legislation in getting energy management and conservation into the consumer and business mainstream.
