Inder M. Singh Joins Comcast Cable as Senior Vice President of Finance and Strategic Planning

Comcast Cable, the nation's leading provider of entertainment, information and communications products and services, announced today that Inder M. Singh has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Finance and Strategic Planning. In this role, Mr. Singh is responsible for Comcast Cable's forecasting, strategy, business trends, and long-range plan preparation, as well as business intelligence and financial support for all product groups. He reports to Dave Scott, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Comcast Cable.

"Inder's extensive knowledge and more than 20 years of financial planning experience will be instrumental in helping to identify new growth opportunities that are focused on our core businesses," said Mr. Scott. Mr. Singh joins Comcast from Cisco where he served as Vice President of Corporate Portfolio Management and Long Range Planning and a member of the CEO's Operating Committee, the Video Board, and the Cisco Investment Review Board. Prior to Cisco, he served as Senior Vice President, Data Networking and Wireline Equipment at Lehman Brothers, and before that was Senior Vice President, Communication, Data Networking and Wireless/Head of Technology Research Group at Prudential Securities. He also held positions at AT&T and American Express.

Mr. Singh holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He also earned a Master of Science in Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Columbia University.
