ZoomMed inc. (TSX VENTURE:ZMD) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, ZoomMed USA, has entered into another strategic alliance agreement with Insurance Data Services Inc. (IDS), a U.S. Corporation, which provides Medical Billing Solutions since 1976 to United States HealthCare Professionals and today, are used in billing well over 100,000 patients per month in fifteen different States.
The agreement provides that ZoomMed's web-based e-Prescribing platform "ZRx Prescriber" will be interfaced with IDS solutions, allowing them to communicate and exchange information, in order to generate aggregate and transmit electronic prescriptions to pharmacies, via Surescripts® Nation's E-Prescription Network. By interfacing their respective solutions, IDS will complement its offering and ZoomMed will gain a privileged access to another important network of Healthcare providers and institutions.
