CPS Technologies Receives U.S. Patent 8,132,493 Titled "Hybrid Tile Metal Matrix Composite Armor" for Ballistic and Blast Protection

NORTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/26/12 -- CPS Technologies Corp. (OTCBB: CPSH) today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark office has issued U.S. Patent 8,132,493. This patent, titled "Hybrid Tile Metal Matrix Composite Armor," builds on two prior CPS armor patents and describes additional novel features such as mounting or shock absorbing posts that can be integrated directly into CPS HybridTech Armor® structures. This is the third patent issued to CPS related to its unique system for ballistic and blast protection, and the Company has additional patents pending in this area.
