TORONTO, April 27, 2012 /CNW/ - Can one person truly make a difference?
If the efforts of this year's twenty winners of the TD Scholarship for
Community Leadership are any indication, the answer is a decisive yes.
For the 17th year in a row, TD Scholarships for Community Leadership will award 20
exceptional young Canadians for their efforts to create positive social
change with a post-secondary scholarship valued up to $70,000.
This year's recipients have taken on issues ranging from pollution and
human rights to health and cross-cultural understanding. Their
relentless efforts to educate and empower the community around them -
and to make our world a better place - are truly inspiring.
Please join us at the TD Scholarships for Community Leadership National
Awards Ceremony in Ottawa to meet Canada's next generation of leaders
and learn more.
