Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET), today reported preliminary
passenger traffic results for April 2012. The Company generated 1.7
billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), which was slightly lower than
the same month last year, on a decrease in capacity of 3% at 2.1 billion
available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours were 75,519 in April 2012, a
decrease of 5% from April 2011. Consolidated load factor was 80% in
April of 2012 versus 79% in the same month last year. Republic Airways
carried 2.5 million passengers during the month, which was 2% lower than
the prior year.

Republic Airways Holdings, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, is an airline
holding company that owns Chautauqua Airlines, Frontier Airlines,
Republic Airlines and Shuttle America, collectively “the airlines.” The
airlines offer scheduled passenger service on nearly 1,500 flights daily
to 132 cities in 43 states, The Bahamas, Canada, Costa Rica, Dominican
Republic, Jamaica, and Mexico under branded operations at Frontier, and
