Star Bulk Announces Date for the Release of First Quarter 2012 Results, Conference Call and Webcast

ATHENS, GREECE -- (Marketwire) -- 05/07/12 -- Star Bulk Carriers Corp. (the "Company" or "Star Bulk") (NASDAQ: SBLK), today announced that it will release its results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2012 before the market opens in New York on Thursday, May 31st, 2012. Star Bulk's management team will host a conference call to discuss the Company's financial results on the same day, Thursday, May 31st 2012, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
