ORLANDO, Fla., May 17, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- InCharge® Debt Solutions ("InCharge"), a nonprofit credit counseling agency, with its affiliate InCharge Education Foundation, has helped clients complete over 800,000 bankruptcy courses since the company initiated the educational offerings in 2006.  The company will be showcasing its Pre-Filing Credit Counseling and Pre-Discharge Debtor Education courses to bankruptcy attorneys at the 2012 Annual Seminar of the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association, May 18-20 at The Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa, Asheville, North Carolina.

This event will feature discussions of discovery in bankruptcies, judgments, an update from the Clerk of the Court's Office, judicial lien avoidance, and a series of roundtables and breakout sessions.

"South Carolina experienced 1.77 bankruptcies per 1,000 residents in 2011, which is below the national average," said Beth Mason, InCharge's Director of Outreach Programs for Bankruptcy Services.  "However, the state's neighbors in the south have been hard hit and this seminar will provide InCharge with an opportunity to introduce our much-needed services to attorneys in the region."

The Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005, or BAPCPA, requires debtors to complete both Pre-Filing Credit Counseling and Pre-Discharge Debtor Education courses and InCharge offers both courses online at www.PersonalFinanceEducation.com.
