(NYSE MKT:BKR), is pleased to announce that Lynda C.
Tollner, P.E., P.M.P., has joined Baker’s Construction Management
Group. She will manage all aspects of the delivery of the Newtown Creek
Water Pollution Control Plant project and oversee schedule, scope and
budget. Her responsibilities include quality oversight, client
management, project execution, and resource management.
Newtown Creek WPCP, New York City’s largest water pollution control
plant, is undergoing a major capital improvement and upgrade program to
increase the plant's current operating capacity by 50 percent and ensure
that the facility complies with Clean Water Act treatment standards. As
part of a Joint Venture Team, Baker is providing construction management
services, including project management and resident engineering
inspection services.
Most recently, Tollner was the program director for the construction of
the $3.1 billion One World Trade Center (The Freedom Tower) for the Port
Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Tollner graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering, Architectural Structures
Option. She is a registered professional engineer with over 28 years of
program and construction management experience including high-profiled
and large-scale infrastructure construction projects in the states of
New York, New Jersey and Maryland, and is a certified Project Management
Professional.
