FREMONT, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/19/12 -- Procera Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: PKT), the intelligent policy enforcement company, today announced that Patrick Duncan has joined the company as Vice President, Asia Pacific Sales and Services.

"Patrick brings extensive experience and expertise within the international communications industry where he has forged significant strategic relationships," said Brian Ahearn, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Procera. "Specifically, he has proven himself throughout the Asia Pacific region, which analysts forecast to grow faster than other regions in implementing DPI solutions. We look forward to Patrick's sales management leadership as we continue to grow Procera's global presence."

Mr. Duncan comes to Procera from CloudShield Technologies where as General Manager of APAC Sales, he built a regional business from zero presence to establishing customers, partners and revenue in Australia, Korea, Japan, India and Singapore. He has 15 years of senior management experience in telecom and high tech sales, professional services, and product development, including serving at Lucent Technologies, where he created the first indirect channel program for APAC generating $130 million in revenue. He also served as the managing director/COO at Avaya and as Vice President of APAC sales at Alvarion, Inc., in addition to other management, sales and consultant roles with wireless broadband companies.

"I am excited to have the opportunity to be part of a company with the technology, timing and roadmap to take it to the top," said Mr. Duncan. "Procera's reputation for technology excellence and business value is well known throughout the industry, including in the Asia Pacific region. Broadband network operators are ramping up their investments to meet subscriber demand for 3G/LTE enabled network services and Procera aims to play a big role in enabling that growth."
