ProShares announced today three key distribution hires and the
establishment of a New York City office. The new hires and new office
are major enhancements to the firm’s distribution efforts supporting the
rapid expansion of ProShares’ product lineup and its position as a
premier provider of alternative exchange traded funds (ETFs).
The new hires are Timothy Brand as Director, Financial Professionals,
Sanjay Yodh as Head of Institutional Sales and Jason Behrens as Manager,
Internal Sales. All three roles report to Donald Roberson, Managing
Director, Distribution.
The New York office will be used to enhance the firm’s education and
distribution capabilities, including its institutional efforts. The
office, located at 400 Madison Avenue, is ProShares’ first office
outside of Bethesda, MD, where the firm is headquartered.

Director, Financial Professionals
Timothy Brand joins ProShares as Director, Financial Professionals. In
this role, Mr. Brand will lead a team of experienced distribution
professionals dedicated to educating financial professionals about
ProShares’ diverse lineup of alternative ETFs. Mr. Brand is based in
ProShares’ Bethesda office.
Mr. Brand has more than 20 years of financial services experience. Most
recently he was with Calamos Investments, where he worked for 10 years
and was National Sales Director for Intermediary Distribution.
Previously at Calamos, Mr. Brand was Director, East Divisional Sales.
Prior to Calamos, Mr. Brand was with Deutsche Asset Management, G.W. &
Wade, New England Funds and First Data Corporation.
Mr. Brand received his B.A. in Management from Hartwick College.
Head of Institutional Sales
Sanjay Yodh joins ProShares as Head of Institutional Sales, a new role
at the company. He will also head the New York City office. In this
role, Mr. Yodh will build and lead a team of seasoned professionals to
further educate institutional investors, such as pension funds,
endowments and hedge funds, on how alternative ETFs can benefit their
portfolios.
Mr. Yodh has more than 16 years of financial services experience, with
the vast majority in institutional asset management sales. Mr. Yodh was
most recently with Guggenheim Partners where he was Managing Director,
Institutional Business. Prior to Guggenheim, Mr. Yodh was with Deutsche
Asset Management and J.P. Morgan.
Mr. Yodh received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the New Jersey
Institute of Technology.
Manager, Internal Sales
Jason Behrens joins ProShares as Manager, Internal Sales. In this role,
Mr. Behrens will oversee a team of 12 internal sales associates. Mr.
Behrens is based in ProShares’ Bethesda office.
Mr. Behrens has more than 14 years of financial services experience. Mr.
Behrens most recently was with Invesco, where he was an Internal Sales
Manager. Prior to Invesco, Mr. Behrens was with AIM Investments, IFS
Financial Services/Touchstone Funds and Fidelity Investments.
Mr. Behrens received his B.A. in Political Science from American
University.
