Award recognizes entrepreneurial excellence in Technology category
Dell Wyse today announced that Ernst & Young recognized Dell Wyse
General Manager and Vice President Tarkan Maner, former President and
CEO of Wyse Technology, with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year®
2012 Award for Technology in Northern California. The award recognizes
outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary
success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal
commitment to their businesses and communities. Tarkan Maner was
selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented
last week at a special gala in San Francisco.
“For the past five years, I have had the pleasure of leading, learning
from and working with a great group of employees, customers and partners
to build a terrific company at Wyse Technology – a company that has
created some of the most interesting business and technology solutions.
I always have strived to lead with an entrepreneurial style that is

Tarkan Maner, former President and CEO of Wyse Technology, and current
Vice President and General Manager for Dell Wyse.
As a Northern California award winner, Tarkan Maner is now eligible for
consideration for the National Entrepreneur Of The Year 2012 Award.
Award winners in several national categories, as well as the National
Entrepreneur Of The Year Overall Award winner, will be announced in
November.
