Two of the biggest stakeholders in California healthcare, the California
Hospital Association and SEIU United Healthcare Workers West, will hold
a telephone-news conference at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012 to give
the perspective of hospitals and hospital workers on the Supreme Court
decision on the Affordable Care Act.
The decision will have a major impact on the future of healthcare in
California and the nation, and will have a particular impact on
hospitals, hospital workers and the patients they serve.
The California Hospital Association is the largest organization of
hospitals in California, and SEIU-UHW is the largest union of hospital
workers.
