Maine Secretary of State Charlie Summers announced the popular online
vehicle registration renewal service, Rapid Renewal (www.Maine.gov/vehicle),
is now available on mobile devices.
The easy-to-use Rapid Renewal service is currently offered in 161 cities
and towns from York County to Aroostook County, with populations ranging

vehicle registrations and pay their municipal excise taxes in one quick
and simple online transaction, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

enthusiastically adopted by Maine citizens,” stated Secretary of State
Charlie Summers. “Over 100,000 renewals are completed online each year,
so it is important that we keep up with changing technology and when we
can, make user-friendly improvements.”
The recent upgrade includes a responsive design that automatically
reformats to work on any screen size, so that citizens can renew through
Rapid Renewal on smartphones, tablets, laptops, or desktop computers.
