SCHILLER PARK, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 08/08/12 -- Enrollment Rx, an innovator of cloud-based Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) solutions for academic institutions, today announced that Lasell College has selected Enrollment Rx to improve retention and streamline admissions workflow for graduate and undergraduate programs. By providing transparency into student records across departments and automating workflow, Enrollment Rx will help faculty, advisors and administrators share data and communicate more effectively for the ultimate benefit of improving every student's Lasell experience. Lasell is currently in the implementation phase and plans to go live in October 2012.

"We've been impressed with the guidance that Enrollment Rx has provided us during the implementation," said Kathleen O'Connor, Vice President for Enrollment Management at Lasell. "We believe Enrollment Rx is a powerful tool that will provide our students with a more personalized, high-touch experience tailored to their needs and interests."

Founded in 1851, Lasell is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in the Boston, Mass. area. The college offers professionally oriented bachelor's and master's degree programs to 1,600 undergraduate and 230 graduate students. When the College Board discontinued support for Recruitment PLUS, Lasell began to identify new systems to manage enrollment. Built on the Force.com enterprise cloud computing platform, Enrollment Rx offers Lasell a solution that connects with their existing systems -- e.g. financial aid, student information system (SIS), institutional research, housing, among others -- as well as new systems in the future. Enrollment Rx also provides Lasell with a portal for students to apply and track enrollment status.

"Enrollment Rx gives us visibility into student records that we've never had before, which will dramatically improve our retention efforts," said Deborah Gelch, CIO at Lasell. "By capturing all relevant student data and any interaction during the enrollment cycle, Enrollment Rx creates a powerful student record that we can take from recruitment to alumnus. Additionally, since it's a cloud-based system, we have a lot less to worry about from an IT perspective, including back-up, disaster recovery and connectivity with other systems."

Lasell will collect student data in Enrollment Rx and share that information across multiple departments to make the admissions and recruitment processes more efficient, improve retention and enhance the overall student experience. Examples include:

  • Tracking class attendance - Lasell's goal is to track 100% of class attendance through the Moodle course management system (CMS). By connecting Enrollment Rx with the Lasell CMS and SIS, advisors can be alerted when a student is not attending and communication work flows can be triggered.
  • Identifying retention trends - Enrollment Rx provides professional advisors with access to information that can better inform them how to help the student if there's a problem. Additionally, advisors will now be able to identify trends around why a particular group of students is successful.

Enrollment Rx provides higher education organizations with unmatched flexibility and ease of use to manage the student lifecycle. Their full suite of products includes: Enrollment Rx enrollment management, Placement Rx career services management, Alumni Rx alumni relationship management, and Stutrax Student Information System.
