Revel Accelerates Momentum; July Operating Update Released

Revel continues make progress across all major business segments; group, leisure and gaming.

“Two months after our premiere, we are continuing to see steady increases in our business volumes across both our gaming and non-gaming segments,” said Kevin DeSanctis, Revel’s chairman and chief executive officer. “Taking a step back, we have built a great product, our operations are improving and we remain confident our economic model will result in significant value creation for our stakeholders.”

Resort Update:

  • Revel Beach premiered to the public on August 3
  • Revolution Jewelry featuring Rodrigo Otazu and Charles Krypell opened July 14
  • HQ Nightclub, Luke’s Kitchen and Marketplace and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf opened in early July
  • Opening this fall are Revel’s dayclub as well as additional restaurants and retailers

July Operating Performance:

  • 650,947 total visitors, up 5% versus June
  • Table drop and slot handle up 30% and 18% versus June, respectively
  • $17.5 million in total gaming revenue, up 17% versus June
  • $9.3 million in select non-gaming revenue, up 15% versus June
  • Average hotel occupancy of 71% versus 58% in June
  • Average rooms booked per day increased 20% versus June

Revel welcomed more than 49 groups for meetings and conferences in July, over a dozen major entertainment acts at Ovation Hall, including Grammy Award-winning artist Kanye West, and world-renowned DJ’s inside Revel’s HQ Nightclub, amongst other resort-wide amenities.   • Journey – August 11
  • Reba – August 18
  • Stone Temple Pilots – August 24
  • Duran Duran – August 25
  • Eagles – September 1 and 2
  • Barry Manilow – September 8
