SeeUnity Mobile provides iPad & iPhone users with secure access enterprise content

DENVER, Sept. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SeeUnity today announced that the International Monetary Fund has deployed SeeUnity Mobile; enabling IMF users to access their OpenText eDOCS content via Apple iPad and iPhone devices.

As a global financial organization, the IMF's on-site mission teams increasingly require the ability to access, and act upon, critical data while in the field — regardless of local infrastructure and connectivity conditions. Correspondingly, the IMF sought out applications for the Apple iPad and iPhone that would grant accessibility, while providing security and a compelling user experience.

"We had a list of requirements to measure against any potential app," said an IT Officer at the IMF. "Support for existing security standards was mandatory. The user experience had to be intuitive and desirable, persuading users to embrace the application.  Maximum accessibility to content was required to offset local connectivity limitations."

SeeUnity Mobile was selected for robust security features, its sleek user interface, and a lightweight connection that supports offline viewing and editing. SeeUnity Mobile was also chosen for supporting unified, simultaneous access to Microsoft SharePoint sites and OpenText eDOCS libraries.

"We're seeing SeeUnity Mobile act as a game-changer for enterprise content users," said Brant Henne, Marketing Director at SeeUnity. "Knowledge workers can access information to make rapid, informed decisions in the field – in a way they couldn't before. SeeUnity Mobile is enhancing how information is used by organizations like the International Monetary Fund."
