Southern California transportation and business leaders, including Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), Rep. Bill Shuster (R-Pa.) and Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa, will announce steps the region is taking to prevent permanent gridlock traffic at the Mobility 21 Summit. The press event will highlight Southern California’s much-needed investment in goods movement, the vital role of local funding, public-private partnerships and the need to invest in all modes of transportation. Leaders will call the public to action to voice their support of transportation improvements in Southern California.
