TRADE NEWS: Agilent Technologies Recognized by Frost & Sullivan for Outstanding Customer Service in Brazil

Tuesday, November 20, 2012 3:01 PM

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) announced today that Frost & Sullivan recognized the company for significant customer-centric initiatives and leadership in Brazil’s electronic test and measurement market, presenting Agilent with the 2012 Brazilian Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Service Leadership.

“Brazil is a very attractive market for T&M equipment companies in the short and long term,” said Frost & Sullivan Industry Director Jessy Cavazos. “As competition intensifies, consolidating a position in the market will depend on how well local factors are taken into consideration. Agilent’s longstanding presence in the country – nearly four decades – and the tremendous expertise of its staff, its network of partners and distributors, its local ability to offer custom service solutions, and its marketing efforts are the key factors that have enabled it to be a customer service leader in the market.”

“We are really pleased to receive this recognition from Frost & Sullivan on our business commitment in Brazil,” said Mark Wallace, vice president and general manager, Agilent’s Americas Field Operation. “Our longstanding successful work in the country represents the involvement of many individuals who are dedicated to the region’s success.”

Agilent has made significant investments over four decades in Brazil, including a world-class facility in São Paulo. The service laboratory is ISO 17025 accredited. All products sold in Brazil come with a complimentary three-year repair warranty, plus full standard calibration for equipment is available in country. Additionally, online and direct customer support is available in Portuguese.
