Company Expands Internationally with New VP of EMEA and First
Office in Asia
SailPoint, the market leader in identity and access management, today
announced it has hired more than 100 new employees over the past year
and expanded into Asia. The company will end the year with more than 275
employees worldwide, with approximately half of those employees based in
Austin. To accommodate that growth, the company has moved its global
headquarters to 11305
Four Points Drive in Austin – a building designated as a
gold-certified Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
facility. SailPoint
now occupies just over 30,000 square feet, and plans to expand to 40,000
square feet by mid-2013. The new office continues SailPoint’s tradition
of a cube-free work environment, provides additional collaboration
space, and features a state-of-the-art training center.
“SailPoint has seen rapid growth over the past few years, both through
organic expansion and strategic acquisitions, which caused us to quickly
outgrow our previous office space,” said Mark McClain, SailPoint’s CEO.
“We now have the largest dedicated identity and access management team
in the world. Our new headquarters accommodates that rapid growth, as
well as our plans for continued expansion next year. The new facility
provides a great home base for our global workforce and gives us
excellent meeting space for customers and partners when they visit
Austin. As we grow, we continue to maintain and adapt our corporate
culture, part of the reason we were named a ‘Best Place to Work’ in
Austin each of the last two years.”
To support its international growth, SailPoint recently opened a Center
of Excellence in Singapore. The new location means that SailPoint now
has offices in seven countries supporting hundreds of customers
across 126 countries. In addition, the company continues to hire staff
across the globe to support its expansion into Asia and other emerging
markets.
SailPoint today also announced that Tony Foley has joined the company as vice
president of Europe. Foley has previously held executive positions
at Quest Software, where prior to heading worldwide sales, he was vice
president of EMEA, and Software AG, where he was responsible for the
company’s Latin American operations. In his role at SailPoint, he will
provide leadership for company’s continued expansion across Europe.
“While SailPoint has grown at an incredible pace, we’ve made sure that
growth was both measured and methodical in order to maintain our focus
on product innovation and customer service,” added Kevin Cunningham,
president of SailPoint. “Tony brings considerable experience in building
software companies and is a great addition to lead our European
operations. He’ll provide a valuable mix of leadership, sales strategy
and on-the-ground support to our team across the EMEA region.”
