(J.J.) Garcia-Luna-Aceves and Lawrence Lee were honored for
excellence within their respective disciplines, ranging from
ethnography to cleantech to networking to innovation

academics, and students interested in human-technology and
human-computer interaction, announced the recipients of the
2013 SIGCHI Awards, including
Bellotti for her work in human-computer interaction and user
experience research. Bellotti is a Principal Scientist and the
developer of PARC's Opportunity Discovery research and strategic
investment targeting program, which assists clients in identifying
the best direction to move with new technology-centered business

Power Player in Greentech, which honors the most influential
people in the greentech industry who bring massive technology

TC Award Committee has selected J.J.
Garcia-Luna-Aceves as a winner of the 2012 IEEE COMSOC Ad
Hoc and Sensor Networks (AHSN) Technical Committee (TC) Technical
Recognition Award. The award was presented in Anaheim at the
December 2012 AHSN TC meeting at GLOBECOM. Garcia-Luna-Aceves
leads PARC's research on ad hoc networking and wireless networking
for multiple industry and government clients.
