Thursday, February 14, 2013 3:18 PM

Dr Pepper Snapple Group (NYSE: DPS) has entered into a five-year agreement with Athens, Ga.-based Zaxby’s. The company, a southeast favorite for Chicken Fingers and Wings, now offers Dr Pepper at its more than 565 locations across 13 states.

The agreement expands the availability of Dr Pepper to all current and future Zaxby’s locations.

“We are continuously evaluating our menu to ensure we are offering our guests new and exciting options,” said Zach McLeroy, chief executive officer and co-founder of Zaxby’s. “The unique blend of flavors in Dr Pepper is the perfect addition to our menu, and we are delighted that our guests can now enjoy this beverage with their meal.”

Dr Pepper is featured alongside Zaxby’s popular boneless wings as part of the chain’s current promotion.

“Zaxby’s is in the same business we are – bringing great quality and flavor to our consumers,” said Scott Johnson, senior vice president of fountain foodservice at DPS. “We are excited to pair Dr Pepper with Zaxby’s delicious chicken and help deliver a great dining experience for their guests.”
