The MobileCinema A50P will be made available in Australia and New Zealand through Synnex Australia, in Singapore by iKnow, and in Hong Kong and Malaysia. Retailing at USD299 (excluding tax), the device is but the latest in a long line of trailblazing products from Aiptek.

Designed for, but not limited to, use with Android phones, the A50P is the same size as a Samsung Galaxy S3. It can link up with laptops, tablets, game consoles like the X-Box and other HDMI devices. The image brightness goes up to 35 ANSI lumens, which is three times brighter than the built-in projector of the Samsung Galaxy Beam, all while delivering battery life at up to 100 minutes (110 minutes for HDMI connections) of on-the-go use per charge. The A50P can also act as a 1850mAh power bank for MHL-enabled phones.

Beyond the A50P, Aiptek has a full range of Pico Projectors, including the "i" series for Apple iOS devices and the "V" series - including the V60 and V100 - which are designed for multi-purpose and standalone use.
