Media Advisory - Ottawa-area 'not a willing host' news conference

OTTAWA, April 5, 2013 /CNW/ - Toronto, April 5, 2013 /cnw/ - Wind Concerns Ontario (WCO) and Ottawa-area citizens' groups will announce at a news conference Saturday that local communities are "not willing hosts" to huge wind power projects. Premier Kathleen Wynne stated recently she will only approve projects in "willing host" communities.

WCO, Ottawa Wind Concerns and South Branch Wind Opposition Group will make statements at Ottawa City Hall, Elgin and Lisgar Streets, 2 PM April 6th. Speakers: energy economist Robert Lyman and Nepean-Carleton MPP Lisa MacLeod.
