SocialVibe and Deutsch LA teamed up to create the Webby Honoree work for The California Milk Advisory Board, titled “Share the Fun” that integrates augmented reality to create an interactive, engaging experience enabling users to change their face to a cows head, personalize their cow and share the experience with their social channels. This campaign garnered significantly higher engagement among consumers than industry standards.

"We are incredibly excited to be named a 2013 Webby Honoree alongside top-level companies," said Alex Van Camp, vice president of west coast sales at SocialVibe. "SocialVibe believes advertising is about people, not pixels, so it's very cool to have this caliber of work recognized by The Webbys."

The Webbys are the leading international awards honoring excellence on the Internet. Established in 1996 during the Web's infancy, The Webbys are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences—a 1,000+ member judging body that includes leading Web experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries and creative celebrities.

Webby Awards are presented to websites in dozens of different categories—from Education and Government to News and Sports. In addition to the 2013 Webby Award Nominees, this year The Webbys also recognized a selection of exceptional quality websites as Official Honorees.

With 11,000 entries from all 50 states and over 60 countries, the Official Honoree distinction is awarded to the top 15% of all work entered for exhibiting remarkable achievement. SocialVibe received the Official Honoree distinction in the Consumer Packaged Goods category.

“The augmented reality 'MooFace' unit provided California Milk Advisory Board a platform to bring their iconic, fantastical California Cow universe from TV to digital,” said Kelly Clarke, Digital Associate Media Director at Deutsch LA. “Enabling users to engage by personalizing their cow delivered lifts in purchase intent that were far greater than anticipated, which really drove home the overall value of engagement units for our client.”

SocialVibe combines the power of an extensive network of premium online and mobile partners, a large, 750x500 rich media ad unit and innovative new placements such as value exchange and interstitials to deliver proven results for brands and marketers. This combination is one of the most powerful in digital advertising, driving industry leading results such as five to 10 times the engagement of display, 60 seconds time spent, 80 percent-plus completion rates and more than 15 percent lift in key brand metrics such as consideration and purchase intent.
