(By Balaseshan) Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE:AJG), an insurance brokerage and risk management services firm, said it has acquired Grace/Mayer Insurance Agency Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 1917, Grace/Mayer Insurance Agency is a retail insurance broker providing property/casualty, employee benefits and risk management insurance services for their U.S. and international commercial and personal lines clients.
Grace/Mayer Insurance Agency specialize in placing coverage for the agribusiness, not-for-profit, real estate, food processing, transportation and construction industries. John Lehr and his team will continue to operate from their current Omaha location as Gallagher Grace/Mayer.
Recently on July 11, Arthur J. Gallagher announced the acquisition of Triad USA Inc. in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for an undisclosed sum. Formed in 1998, Triad USA offers employee benefits brokerage and consulting services.

On July 2, Arthur J. Gallagher said it has purchased Miller Buettner & Parrott Inc. in Rockford, Illinois for an undisclosed sum. Founded in 1998, Miller Buettner & Parrott is an employee benefits insurance broker and consultant offering a broad range of employee benefits insurance and consulting services to their clients throughout the central United States.
AJG is trading up 2.31% at $36.26 on Friday. The stock has been trading between $24.29 and $38.24 for the past 52 weeks.
