(By Balaseshan) Dividend announcement by companies on Wednesday include: Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Marsh & McLennan, Ensign, Great Southern Bancorp, First of Long Island, Unitil, Kite Realty, Bank of Commerce Holdings, and Acme United.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc. (NASDAQ:CBRL) said its board of directors has increased its quarterly dividend by 25% to $0.50 per common share, payable on November 5 to shareholders of record as of October 19. The stock, which has been in $37.92 to $69.30 range for past year, is currently trading up 7.47% at $68.37.

Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc. (NYSE:MMC), a global professional services firm, has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.23 per common share, payable on November 15 to shareholders of record on October 11. The stock, which has been in $25.29 to $34.99 range for past year, is currently trading down 1.26% at $34.47.

Ensign Group Inc. (NASDAQ:ENSG), which provides skilled nursing and rehabilitative care services, has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per common share, payable on or before October 31 to shareholders of record as of September 30. The stock, which has been in $20.11 to $30.50 range for past year, is currently trading down 0.33% at $29.85.

Great Southern Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ:GSBC) has declared a third quarter dividend of $0.18 per common share, payable on October 11 to shareholders of record on October 1. The stock, which has been in $15.27 to $31.81 range for past year, is currently trading down 1.41% at $31.11.

First of Long Island Corp. (NASDAQ:FLIC), a bank holding company, has declared a third quarter cash dividend of $0.25 per share, payable on October 12 to shareholders of record on October 3. This represents an 8.7% increase over last year's dividend of $0.23. The stock, which has been in $21.55 to $31.25 range for past year, is currently trading down 0.26% at $30.85.

Unitil Corp. (NYSE:UTL), which engages in distribution of electricity and natural gas, has declared regular quarterly dividend of $0.345 per common share, payable on November 15 to shareholders of record on November 1. The stock, which has been in $24.58 to $29 range for past year, is currently trading up 0.48% at $26.95.

Kite Realty Group Trust (NYSE:KRG) has declared a quarterly cash distribution of $0.06 per common share, payable on or about October 12 to shareholders of record as of October 5. The stock, which has been in $3.19 to $5.62 range for past year, is currently trading down 0.94% at $5.26.

Bank of Commerce Holdings (NASDAQ:BOCH) has declared a third quarter cash dividend of 0.03 per share, payable on October 12 to shareholders of record as of September 28. The stock, which has been in $2.90 to $4.59 range for past year, is currently trading up 0.91% at $4.42.

Acme United Corp. (NYSEAMEX:ACU), a supplier of cutting devices, measuring instruments, and safety products, has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.07 per common share, payable on October 23 to shareholders of record as of October 1. The stock, which has been in $8.52 to $11.54 range for past year, is currently trading up 1.55% at $11.17.
