(By Balachander) A number of stocks were upgraded, downgraded and price targets changed by equities research analysts on Tuesday:
Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C): Raymond James upgraded the stock to "strong buy" from "outperform". Shares rose 1.06 percent to trade at $37.05.
Fossil Inc. (NASDAQ:FOSL): Citigroup upgrades shares of the fashion accessories company to "buy" from "neutral". The stock jumped 7.76 percent to trade at $91.69.
United Parcel Service Inc. (NYSE:UPS): RW Baird downgraded the stock to "neutral" from "outperform". Shares traded 0.83 percent higher at $73.19.
Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB): Nomura lowered price target on the stock to $27 from $31.50. Macquarie reduced PT to $21 from $28. Shares shed 0.20 percent to trade at $19.48.
Sprint Nextel Corp. (NYSE:S): RW Baird upgraded the stock to "neutral" from "underperform". Bernstein upgraded the stock to "market perform" from "underperform". Hudson Square downgraded the stock to "hold" from "buy". Shares traded 0.18 percent higher at $5.70.
Kroger Co. (NYSE:KR): Jefferies upgraded rating on the shares to "buy" from "hold". The stock gained 4.10 percent to trade at $24.38.
