Homeowners Choice Inc. (NASDAQ: HCII) said its board has increased the regular quarterly cash dividend by 12.5 percent to 22.5 cents from 20 cents per common share. In addition, the board declared a special dividend of 10 cents per common share. Both dividends will be paid December 21, to shareholders of record November 16. The stock, which has been in the $6.99 to $26.60 range for past year, is currently trading up 1.40 percent at $23.95.
