Emerson Electric Co. (NYSE: EMR) said its board has increased its quarterly cash dividend from $0.40 to $0.41 per common share, payable on December 10 to stockholders of record November 16. The stock, which has been in a $43.58 to $53.78 range for the past year, is currently trading up 1.90 percent at $51.46.
The Allstate Corp. (NYSE: ALL) has declared a quarterly dividend of 22 cents per common share, payable in cash on December 31 to stockholders of record November 30. The stock, which has been in a $24.50 to $42.81 range for the past year, is currently trading up 1.46 percent at $39.24.
