Dividend Roundup: AXP, BDX, PEG, HRL, ARG, IGT, DSW, CHS

(By Balaseshan) Dividend announcement by companies on Tuesday include: American Express, Becton Dickinson, Public Service Enterprise, Hormel Foods, Airgas, International Game Technology, DSW, and Chico's FAS.

Becton, Dickinson and Co. (NYSE: BDX) said its board increased the quarterly dividend by 10 percent to $0.495 per common share, payable on Dec. 31 to shareholders of record on Dec. 10. The stock, which has been in a $70.05 to $80.56 range for the past year, is currently trading up 0.36 percent at $76.06.

Hormel Foods Corp. (NYSE: HRL) board has raised the quarterly dividend to $0.17 from $0.15 per share, payable on Feb. 15, 2013 to stockholders of record on Jan. 21, 2013. The stock, which has been in a $27.28 to $31.49 range for the past year, is currently trading down 4.19 percent at $29.99.

International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT) said its board has increased quarterly dividend by 17 percent to $0.07 per common share, payable on Dec. 31 to shareholders of record on Dec. 19. The stock, which has been in a $10.92 to $18.10 range for the past year, is currently trading up 1.77 percent at $13.24.

American Express Co. (NYSE: AXP) has declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.20 per common share, payable on Feb. 8, 2013 to shareholders of record Jan. 4, 2013. The stock, which has been in a $44.70 to $61.42 range for the past year, is currently trading up 1.01 percent at $55.79.

Public Service Enterprise Group Inc. (NYSE: PEG) has declared a quarterly dividend of 35.50 cents per common share, payable on or before Dec. 31 to stockholders of record Dec. 7. The stock, which has been in a $28.92 to $34.07 range for the past year, is currently trading down 0.71 percent at $29.57.

Airgas Inc. (NYSE: ARG) has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.40 per share, payable on Dec. 28 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 14. The stock, which has been in a $69.51 to $93.05 range for the past year, is currently trading up 0.62 percent at $89.61.

DSW Inc. (NYSE: DSW) has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.18 per share, payable on Dec. 28 to shareholders of record on Dec. 17. The stock, which has been in a $40.54 to $69.35 range for the past year, is currently trading up 9.62 percent at $68.28.

Chico's FAS Inc. (NYSE: CHS) has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.0525 per common share, payable on Dec. 17 to shareholders of record on Dec. 3. The stock, which has been in a $9.57 to $19.76 range for the past year, is currently trading down 1.05 percent at $17.97.
